KORISCC(International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) is a global sustainability certification system covering the entire supply chain and all kinds of bio-based feedstocks, non-biological renewable materials, recycled materials to support sustainability and circular economy.
All relevant elements of the supply chain must obtain a certificate to ensure the traceability of sustainability characteristics along the entire supply chain.

FSC CoC (Chain of Custody) Certification verifies that raw materials sourced from forests remain identified and segregated from non-certified and uncontrolled materials throughout the entire supply chain, from their origin to the final product. The certification process involves meticulous tracking of the manufacturing processes to ensure certified materials are distinctly separated from non-certified materials, thus maintaining the integrity and value of FSC certification throughout the entire value chain, ultimately reaching the consumer. FSC CoC Certification applies to individuals or companies involved in the production, processing, and distribution of FSC-certified forest-based materials. It covers a diverse range of products, including timber and various non-timber forest products.
KFQ is undergoing the official certification body designation process with Accreditation Services International (ASI) and FSC, as an applicant.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the responsible management of the world's forests. FSC provides certification schemes such as Forest Management (FM) and Chain of Custody (CoC) certifications as effective tools for better forest management. By verifying FSC-certified forest products through FSC labels, both businesses and consumers can make responsible and ethical choic
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by the United Nations in 2016, set a global agenda for sustainable development to be achieved by 2030. FSC's activities align with 14 of these goals and contribute to achieving 40 targets. Specifically, FSC actively contributes to SDG 15 (Life on Land), supporting sustainable forest management globally. Additionally, FSC's principles of fairness, social and economic equity, poverty reduction, equality, natural resources, sustainable production and consumption, responsible supply chains, climate change, inclusivity, and responsible society and global partnerships also contribute broadly to other SDGs.

PEFC/KFCC Chain of Custody (CoC) Certification ensures that timber and non-timber forest products originating from sustainably managed, certified forests are not mixed with those from uncontrolled sources. This certification covers the entire supply chain—from processing and manufacturing to distribution and sales. Operated under a mutual recognition framework between the international PEFC system and Korea’s own KFCC scheme, it serves as an institutional mechanism to objectively demonstrate the legality and sustainability of forest resources.

KFCC is Korea’s localized forest certification scheme. Due to regional diversity, it is often challenging to manage forests under uniform global standards. To address this, the Korea Forest Certification Council established sustainable forest management standards that incorporate the perspectives of PEFC as well as domestic forest stakeholders. As the KFCC standards fully meet the global requirements of PEFC, KFCC certification is recognized as having equivalent validity to PEFC certification.
SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) represent the largest shared agenda of the United Nations and the international community, launched in 2016 and running through 2030. PEFC/KFCC certification contributes to achieving these goals, particularly SDG 15 (Life on Land), among the 17 global targets. Sustainably managed forests play a vital role in advancing this collective effort.
